Our Team
Intentional Therapy PLLC, a group therapy practice, was founded in March 2021 by Parthi B. Patel, who identified a need for culturally attuned mental health care—particularly for first- and second-generation BIPOC individuals navigating complex family dynamics, identity concerns, and life transitions.

Intentional Therapy specializes in a non-traditional therapy approach designed to address cultural expectations, intergenerational patterns, and relational challenges common within BIPOC communities. Since its founding, the practice has expanded to include clinicians who share the same mission, values, and commitment to culturally responsive care.

Our therapists bring diverse clinical expertise, allowing us to support individuals, couples, and families with anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, trauma, and life transitions. We prioritize authenticity, strong therapeutic relationships, and evidence-based treatment in a space that feels safe, affirming, and human.

Our Team
At Intentional Therapy PLLC, we specialize in culturally-attuned, non-traditional therapy for BIPOC individuals, particularly those from South and East Asian backgrounds. Founded in March 2021 by Parthi B. Patel, a first-generation South Asian American, our practice understands challenges like bi-cultural identity struggles and intergenerational trauma. "We’ve created a space where you don’t have to explain your culture—our therapists ‘just get it,’ because we’ve lived it." We have since expanded to include other mental health professionals, each with unique areas of specialization, allowing collaboration for individuals, couples, families, and organizations.
