You might know what you want, but still feel stuck acting on it. You overthink your decisions, feel responsible for others, or question if you're doing enough. That pressure can show up as anxiety, relationship stress, or feeling disconnected from yourself.
As a Southeast Asian therapist, I understand the internal weight many clients carry. For some, it comes from family or cultural expectations. For others, it shows up more in dating, identity, or life transitions. Either way, it can feel exhausting trying to figure everything out on your own.
I specialize in narcissistic abuse recovery — working with individuals who have spent months or years in relationships that slowly dismantled their sense of self, their trust in their own perceptions, and their ability to know what's real. Whether you experienced narcissistic abuse in a romantic relationship, a family dynamic, or a friendship, the recovery process is specific and it requires a therapist who understands it. I do.
Within Southeast Asian communities especially, narcissistic family dynamics often hide behind cultural values of obedience, sacrifice, and filial duty. You may have been told that what you experienced wasn't abuse — that you're being too sensitive, too ungrateful, or too Western in your expectations. I will not ask you to see it from their side. I will help you rebuild trust in yourself.
I also hold dedicated space for breakup recovery — including the particular grief of leaving relationships that weren't healthy but still felt like home. Whether you ended something that looked fine from the outside, or you're healing from a relationship that cost you more than you realized, your grief is valid and your healing is possible.
My work is grounded in building self-trust — helping clients reconnect with their own instincts, boundaries, and sense of worth after relationships or environments that taught them not to trust themselves.
As a conversational Vietnamese speaker, I am able to connect with Vietnamese-speaking clients in a language that honors their cultural roots and makes therapy feel less like translation.
I am based in Austin, TX and offer virtual sessions across Texas — making culturally informed Southeast Asian therapy accessible wherever you are in the state.
