Are you lying awake at 2am replaying conversations, wondering if you're good enough? Maybe you're scrolling through social media feeling like everyone else has it figured out except you. If you're tired of pretending you have it all together while drowning in your own thoughts, you're in the right place.
I bring a warm, compassionate presence to therapy, rooted in both clinical expertise and lived experience as a Muslim woman who understands the emotional complexity of love, relationships, and family expectations in our community.
Arranged marriage comes with a unique emotional landscape that most therapists simply aren't equipped to hold. The pressure to decide quickly. The guilt of feeling uncertain. The fear of disappointing your family. The hope that this could actually be something real. I work with Muslim individuals and couples navigating every stage of this process — from the initial meeting to pre-marital counseling to building a marriage that actually feels like yours.
My structured pre-marital counseling program is designed specifically for Muslim couples who want to enter marriage with intention. We'll work through communication styles, conflict patterns, family dynamics, religious expectations, and emotional intimacy — building a foundation that goes deeper than compatibility checklists.
I also hold dedicated space for breakups and relationship grief — which in Muslim communities often carries an extra layer of shame, silence, and spiritual confusion. Whether you ended an engagement, walked away from a halal courtship, or are healing from a relationship your family didn't know about, your grief is real and it deserves real support.
For Muslim young adults navigating modern dating while honoring their faith and family — the tension between what you want, what's halal, and what your parents expect is exhausting. I help you process that without judgment, and without asking you to choose between your values and your healing.
As a conversational Urdu speaker, I'm able to connect with Urdu-speaking clients in a way that honors their language and cultural context.
My sessions are available virtually across Texas — wherever you are, you don't have to navigate love and relationships alone.
