Care That Sees the Person Behind the Performance
Maybe you replay one mistake long after the game ends. Maybe you train hard but freeze when the moment matters. Or perhaps an injury, a changing role, or the end of a season has left you wondering who you are without your sport.
Sports performance anxiety can reach into sleep, confidence, relationships, and daily life. Therapy with Peyton Sutton gives you space to understand that pressure and develop ways to respond to it while staying connected to the person you are beyond competition.

Peyton works with athletes, students, and high achievers navigating the emotional demands that often exist behind performance and success. She looks at the whole person, including the athlete you have worked hard to become. Sessions can help you notice what happens before and after high-pressure moments, understand the beliefs attached to performance, and practice responses that fit your goals and values.
Her specialties include sports performance anxiety, choking under pressure, post-athlete identity and life transitions, body image concerns for athletes, BIPOC athlete mental health, college and academic stress, and relationship challenges.
Through a supportive and collaborative approach, Peyton helps clients build resilience, process pressure and identity-related challenges, and reconnect with themselves both within and beyond performance.
Your Worth Is Bigger Than Your Last Performance.
Whether you are preparing for the next competition or figuring out who you are after sport, there is room to work through it.
