You don't have to explain what it's like to be the only Black player on your team or justify why family expectations feel overwhelming — your experience is already valid here. Whether you're dealing with sports performance anxiety, life transitions, family conflict, or finding your identity beyond athletics, I'm here to walk alongside you with understanding, challenge, and unwavering support.
I specialize in working with athletes, coaches, and BIPOC college students who are navigating the mental and emotional demands of high-performance environments. From the pressure to perform perfectly to the identity crisis that hits when sports end — I work at the intersection of athletics and mental health in a way most therapists simply aren't equipped to.
One of my core areas of focus is what athletes call "choking" — the experience of performing below your ability when the stakes are highest. Through Brainspotting and evidence-based performance psychology, we identify and process the mental blocks, fear responses, and pressure patterns keeping you from competing at your best.
I also hold dedicated space for formerly incarcerated youth and their families — a population that deserves mental health support that acknowledges the full complexity of their experience without judgment.
Beyond traditional therapy, I offer on-site workshops and training for athletic programs, teams, and coaching staffs — bringing mental performance work directly into the spaces where athletes train and compete.
I am licensed in both Texas and Indiana, with virtual sessions available across both states so that culturally informed, athlete-centered mental health care is accessible wherever you are. I also offer in-person sessions at our office in Allen, Texas.
