As someone who has personally navigated the intersection of two cultures, I offer more than clinical expertise — I offer a space that feels familiar, safe, and deeply affirming of who you are. Intentional Therapy was built on one belief: therapy should work for our people, not just the westernized version of what healing is supposed to look like.

I am no longer taking on therapy clients — the practice I built is now led by an exceptional team of clinicians, headed by Clinical Director Shivani Solanki Patel and Lead Clinician Ayesha Youngblood. They carry the work forward with the same values, depth, and cultural competency that Intentional Therapy was founded on.

My focus now is on the therapists themselves.

I provide LPC supervision for associates and graduate students in Texas — with a specific emphasis on supporting therapists of color who are navigating a field that wasn't built with them in mind. Supervision with me isn't just about hours. It's about building a clinical identity that is yours, not borrowed from a textbook that never once mentioned your community.

I offer clinical consultation for licensed therapists who want a thought partner — someone who understands the complexity of working with BIPOC, immigrant, and first-generation clients and can help you hold that work with more confidence and clarity.

I also offer private practice consulting for therapists who are building or growing their own practices — covering everything from setup and systems to positioning, niche development, and finding your clients. I built Intentional Therapy from the ground up and I know what it takes, especially as a therapist of color in a saturated market.

And I offer marketing consultation specifically for therapy practices — helping clinicians and group practices build an online presence that actually reflects who they are and who they serve, without sounding like every other therapist on Psychology Today.

I am widely recognized as an eldest daughter expert — having spoken publicly, been featured in press, and built an entire practice around the very specific psychological weight of being the firstborn daughter in immigrant and BIPOC families. This is work I live, not just work I do.

I am licensed in Texas as an LPC Supervisor and in Florida as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, with virtual consultation and supervision available across both states.
