Additional Services

Telehealth

We use TherapyAppointment and Zoom. Both are secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platforms. They work on all popular browsers as well as smartphones using iOS or Android, giving you access to therapy from wherever you are.

Speaking Engagements

We provide speaking engagements on mental health in BIPOC communities, intergenerational trauma, and non-traditional approaches to therapy. Topics include bi-cultural identity, stress management, cultural trauma, imposter syndrome, and parenting.

Consultations

We provide clinical and collaborative consultations with other mental/medical professionals, educators, and parents. Areas include clinical cases, parenting support, and culturally responsive mental health strategies.

Fees & Insurance

Insurance

We believe that quality mental health care should be accessible. We are in-network with most major insurance providers. Our clinicians currently accept insurance including BCBS, Cigna, Aetna, UnitedHealthcare, Oscar, Oxford, and more.

To ensure the best use of your benefits, we recommend checking with your insurance provider about coverage, co-pays, and deductibles. If you have questions, our team is happy to assist you during your consultation call.










Private Pay (Out-of-Network / Out-of-Pocket)

If you prefer to pay out-of-pocket or are using out-of-network benefits, we will provide you with a monthly superbill to submit for potential reimbursement. You may be reimbursed after you meet your deductible depending on your plan.

You are entitled to a Good Faith Estimate of your treatment costs at Intentional Therapy PLLC per the No Surprises Act (Under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act). Learn more here.

Sliding Scale

Each of our therapists offers a limited number of reduced-fee therapy slots. These are available to clients who cannot afford the full session rate and are designed to support access to care. Please reach out to discuss this option further.

Rates

Licensed Therapists:

  • $150 for Individual Sessions
  • $200 for Couples or Family Sessions

LPC Associates (Supervised Therapists):

  • $130 for Individual Sessions
  • $150 for Couples or Family Sessions
