Do you have an office?

Yes! As of March 1, 2026 (exactly 5yrs since the practice started. Crazy, right?!), we are officially in-person! Our office is located at 550 S. Watters Rd Suite 116, Allen, TX 75013. We still operate virtually to serving clients across Texas, Florida, and Indiana.
Can we do telehealth if I can't come to the office?

Yes, absolutely! We serve clients virtually across Texas, Florida, and Indiana.
How does Intentional Therapy ensure therapy feels personal?

Our therapists maintain intentionally small caseloads to ensure personalized therapy. Whether you’re attending therapy in Texas or Florida via telehealth, your care is tailored to your lived experience and goals.
How long are sessions?

Individual therapy sessions are 53 minutes. Couples, family, or intake sessions may be up to 75 minutes for clients in Texas, Florida, and Indiana.
How often do we meet?

Most clients meet weekly, though frequency may vary depending on clinical needs and goals. This applies to both virtual therapy and future in-office sessions in Allen, Texas.
What if I’m running late?

We offer a 15-minute grace period. After that, the session may be considered a late cancellation and subject to a $75 fee.
Do you take insurance?

Yes. Our fully licensed therapists accept BCBS, Aetna, Cigna, United Healthcare, Oscar, and Oxford in Texas and Florida. Our Indiana therapist is private pay only. Our LPC Associates only accept Aetna and Cigna.
How can I check my insurance benefits?

Do you require a credit card on file?

Yes. A credit card is required to reserve sessions and support fair compensation for our therapists. We do accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, HSA/FSA, and AMEX.
Which states do you practice in?

We provide therapy services in Texas, Florida, and Indiana. We are in-person in Allen, Texas and virtual throughout Texas, Flordia, and Indiana.
How long will I be in therapy?

Treatment length varies. Some clients attend short-term therapy, while others engage in longer-term support depending on goals.
What is an LPC Associate?

An LPC Associate has completed graduate training and practices under supervision. Associates offer high-quality care at a reduced rate.
Will my parents find out if I start therapy?

If you are 18 or older, therapy is confidential. Insurance billing may appear on policyholder statements.
What are your rates?

Fully Licensed Therapists: $165 (individual), $225 (couples/families)
LPC Associates: $110 (individual), $160 (couples/families)
