My Therapeutic Style & Approach
Are you the athlete who looks unstoppable on the field but can't quiet the voice in your head telling you you're not good enough? Maybe you're facing a major transition or feeling like you're carrying weight that others don't understand. You're in the right place.
I bring both professional expertise and lived experience to my work with athletes, young adults, and BIPOC individuals. As a former athlete who competed in a predominantly white sport, I understand the unique pressures of being "the only one" while trying to perform at your best. My approach is grounded in authenticity, challenge, and real talk—no sugar-coating, no generic advice.
My therapeutic style is collaborative, direct, and compassionate. Some days, you might need practical strategies to manage pre-game anxiety or handle family pressure. Other times, we'll dig deeper into perfectionism, identity beyond sports, or what it means to find your voice when everyone expects you to stay quiet and perform. And sometimes, you just need someone who gets it—who won't minimize your experience or tell you that your struggles aren't "that deep."
"Therapy that meets you where you are—whether that's on the court, in the field, or figuring out your next move in life."
Whether we're walking and talking, meeting at your court or field, or sitting in a traditional office setting, I meet you where you feel most comfortable. I work with teens who "don't want to be there," high-functioning individuals who are tired of pretending everything's fine, and athletes navigating transitions at every level of competition.
You don't have to explain what it's like to be the only Black player on your team or justify why family expectations feel overwhelming—your experience is already valid here. Whether you're dealing with sports performance anxiety, life transitions, family conflict, or finding your identity beyond athletics, I'm here to walk alongside you with understanding, challenge, and unwavering support.

Tired of people telling you to "just think positive"?
